The machines won. Hold the line anyway.

End of Days: Tower Defense is a tower defense game for iPhone and iPad. Build and fork twelve lines of emplacements around the last human city while mechs, drones, walkers and machine infantry grind toward the core — wave after announced wave, boss after named boss.

Real footage, captured on the iPhone simulator before release with the game’s built-in autoplayer at the controls.

How it plays

Four decisions, every wave.

Built in the tradition of the Warcraft III custom tower-defense maps: fixed build plots along a creep path, numbered waves announced in advance, and upgrade trees that fork. Leaks cost lives, not the run.

01 · Damage type

Read the preview.

Six damage types meet six armour types on a matrix that swings from 0.35× to 1.75×. A board that reads the incoming wave beats a board with 40% more gold.

02 · Wide or deep

Fork at tier three.

Every tower line forks into two mutually exclusive tier-4 specialists. Depth is more gold-efficient; width buys coverage. Armour wants one, swarms want the other.

03 · Spend or bank

Call it early.

Banked gold earns interest, and sending the next wave before its countdown ends pays a bounty bonus. Both reward the player who's ahead — and punish hesitation.

04 · Where

Own the geometry.

A flamethrower owns an intersection and nothing three cells away. Some superweapons own the whole map — and you only get one.

The arsenal

Twelve lines. Sixty towers.

Each line climbs three tiers, then splits. Pick one specialist and the other is gone for that tower.

The threat

Six names you'll learn to hate.

Thirty-nine wave units — drones, crawlers, walkers, flyers — and six named bosses waiting at the end of the campaign's acts.

Warden

“It commanded the sweep that took the northern districts. It remembers the layout of our streets better than we do.”

Vespera, Hive Mother

“A drone carrier the size of a cathedral, and every window is a hangar.”

The Roadbreaker

“It does not follow the road. It is in the process of deciding where the road was.”

Choir of Nine

“Nine bodies, one decision. They sing to each other on a frequency that makes our teeth ache.”

Leviathan Frame

“They built it to dismantle a mountain range. We are a smaller job and it is taking its time.”

The machine core

“Not a soldier. The thing the soldiers were an argument for. It has come to see the end personally.”
